“Utopos” est une métaphore, une manière poétique d’exprimer des idées à propos de l’univers et du temps. Un sujet peu original en effet, mais que l’art a interrogé au cours de l’histoire (culturelle). Peut-être, la façon de s’approcher d’une réponse est par un questionnement, par une insatiable curiosité et par les sens, en particulier le toucher et la vue. La main représente une dimension humaine, un besoin conscient d’atteindre la connaissance, non de la surpasser mais dans un objectif de la comprendre. La surface noire est l’obscurité où chacun va à la recherche de la lumière.

“Utopos” is a metaphor, a poetic way of expressing ideas about the universe and about time. Not a very original subject perhaps, but one that art has continued to query throughout cultural history. Perhaps the way to get closer to an answer is through questions, an insatiable curiosity and the senses, particularly touch and sight. The hand represents a humanizing aspect, the awareness of needing to get closer to knowledge, not to surpass it but in order to understand it. The black plane is the darkness where one goes in search of the light.
